Tell your supermarket
to trust expose Red Tractor

Look for the Red Tractor
dirty truth

Behind the logo lies a dirty truth: according to recent Environment Agency data, 60% of inspected Red Tractor farms have breached environmental regulations.

But the game is finally up. It’s been ruled that Red Tractor’s advertising misled the public into believing their products meet basic environmental standards and a good environmental outcome.

It’s time for supermarkets to up their standards

Everyone wants to shop with confidence, trusting that their choices aren’t harming our rivers.

These big name supermarkets are using the Red Tractor label as a mark of environmental protection. Now that Red Tractor has been exposed for greenwashing, it’s time that the big supermarkets demanded high environmental practices from their suppliers.

Tell your supermarket to call out Red Tractor, and pave the way for robust environmental standards on their products.

Your supermarket not listed? We’ve focused on the major supermarkets that explicitly use Red Tractor for environmental assurance of their products, not all supermarkets do.

Farmed
with
care

The nation’s rivers need our help – and supermarkets hold the power to save them. By backing farmers and businesses that care for the land, supermarkets can restore trust in their supply chains, protect our waterways and reward farmers committed to nature-friendly practices.

Consumers and farmers want real sustainability, not a sticker. They want confidence that the British produce they buy does not harm the environment or our rivers.”

CEO of the Nature Friendly Farming Network
